Water Conservation – Hand Washing

Wash my hands with cold water?  Yes, why not?  In the winter too?  Sure.  You’re tough; you can handle it.  Consider it a sacrifice for nature.  Do you realize how much water (and energy) we save by using cold water?

Lakes worth.

What about germ killing?  Won’t warm water kill germs better?  Well let’s look at it this way… how hot of water can your skin handle?  Boiling?  If so, you are killing the germs well!

Consider dad’s handwashing method:

Soap up with drops of water.  Scrub with drops of water.  Rinse with the water gushing.  But only for a short time.  Now that’s the way to save resources!

Thanks for doing your part to help out the planet.
